My Size Doesn't Define my Beauty - #Keto

Just another statistic in today's society, 5'5 thick in the thighs, which only defines a portion of voluptuous stature.  Now don't let this post bring upon a miss understanding I'm comfortable in the skin i'm in, but the stress and weight that is underneath this beauty runs deep. Diabetes, high cholesterol and PCOS are health issues that come with my curves that turn heads.

With that being said I refuse to be another statistic in today's society, wearing my obesity for everyone to see, while hiding the life threatening diseases that are invisible to society's eye. My size doesn't define my beauty but it does define my health.

After years multiple fail attempts of weight loss and not keeping it off, I'm at it once again. Today will be the start of my ups and downs on a new journey in creating a healthier Kura. I will be documenting the good the bad the pretty and the ugly, to determine what works for me.

For the next two weeks I will be attempting to adapt to the Keto lifestyle as my first new attempt in reversing my illnesses.

keto diet is well known for being a low carb diet, where the body produces ketones in the liver to be used as energy. It's referred to as many different names – ketogenic diet, low carb diet, low carb high fat (LCHF), etc. When you eat something high in carbs, your body will produce glucose and insulin
